Disaccharides

Polysaccharides
The Complex Carbohydrates
Polysaccharides are long chains of many glucose units bonded together — starch (the plant storage form) and fiber (structural plant carbohydrate that mostly resists digestion). These take longer to break down, producing a slower, steadier blood sugar response.
